Hello everyone,
When I bought my house, it had a very bad energy; A "financially draining" energy. At the time we closed escrow, all I knew was that the people I bought it from where close to losing it. I later found out that it has a long history of the owners going into foreclosure - at least 3 prior owners have been foreclosed upon. It took me quite awhile and a lot of sage to reverse the energy. I also gridded it with aventurine.
I've had three years of stability and peace so far, but now I feel as though the energy is shifting again and not in a good way. I think it may be time to grid with something else. I was thinking maybe citrine, but I thought I would ask all of you for your input. What would you suggest?
Thanks very much!!

Re: question on gridding my house
Sun, August 30, 2009 - 1:28 AMCan you be more specific? Do you have enough $$ coming in to cover expenses and still have extra, is it equal, or does more go out than comes in? Sometimes you can have a good cash flow, but more always goes out. In other cases, expenses can be moderate, but not enough $$ is coming in. Although the result is the same, not enough money, the causes are different. From the long history you reference, this sounds like a Feng Shui problem to me. Do you know an experienced, competent, professional Feng Shui Consultant? You can grid all you want, but if there is a serious, basic Feng Shui cause, or multiple causes, that is very hard to overcome with gridding. Once you put in one, or in more serious cases, multiple Feng Shui solutions (which can be appropriately sized and shaped natural crystals in specific locations), then a grid can be good to boost, balance, and improve energy. -

Re: question on gridding my house
Sun, August 30, 2009 - 9:02 AMIt may be time to do something a little more active in addition to griddinng the house, try a floor washing.
1. Make a strong infusion of basil, hyssop, and pine needles.
2. strain and add to a bucket or spray bottle of rinse water with vinegar. 1 part infusion, 1 part vinegar, 2 parts water.
3. Cleanse floors and surfaces as needed.
Black Tourmaline is great for absorbing negative energies and stress.
Malachite and pyrite are good for attracting luck and money.
Selenite is a powerful cleanser and Red Selenite is an emotional cleanser.
Best of luck to you

Re: question on gridding my house
Mon, August 31, 2009 - 8:09 AMI don't know much about Feng Shui, but I remember reading that in feng shui books years ago. It just
struck me as amusing. In this ba gua diagram the "money" position would be the "wealth" position.

I personally have experience with sensing and relocating or removing "energy" topologically, but I do not work with formalized strcutures such as feng shui. There is also a psychological
aspect to arranging objects such that a change can be wrought by such maneuverings. Ask any interior designer.

Re: question on gridding my house
Mon, August 31, 2009 - 11:23 AMCheck the energy of the land around and under the house. This situation may extend farther than the house and it's foundation, into the land the house is "planted" in.
Does your cycle of "3 years of stability and peace" seem to echo the pattern/cycle of previous owners? The situation may be a cyclical one.

Re: question on gridding my house
Mon, August 31, 2009 - 6:02 PMThere are different systems for locating the wealth area, sometimes called the money area. One of the easiest to use and most effective ones locates it in the far back left corner of a room, house, or property, relative to the official entry, front door, or primary door to the room. Problems in this area, for example it can be missing, leading to not enough $$, or, as Solari points out, if the bathroom is there, money can drain away. This is just one Feng Shui aspect to check, and as someone who has practiced Feng Shui professionally all over the world for 20 years, calling in a qualified professional, can be invaluable. The fact that there is a long term history of similar problems on the site, almost invariably goes along with one or more classic Feng Shui problems. Often there are remedies, and I have seen situations improve dramatically thousands of times, when an accurate diagnosis was followed by conscious and aware solutions. The three year timing, if it matches with that of previous owners, could indicate how long it takes the energy of the place to overwhelm residents who move in with normal, adequate resources. Also, in a good economy, with plenty of money available, the problem won't manifest as seriously as when the economy goes down. -

Re: question on gridding my house
Sat, September 5, 2009 - 5:12 PMThanks to everyone for your responses. Yes, it does seem to be a feng shui problem. Yes, my main bathroom is in the wealth corner of the house. I understand that keeping the lid always closed helps as does placing a mirror on top of the bowl. I've done both.
Yes, money is steadily draining away and taking all my resources with it. I wish I had the money to find a professional practitioner, but of course, I don't anymore. -

Re: question on gridding my house
Sat, September 5, 2009 - 5:15 PMI'll try the floor washing next. I regularly smudge with a mix of sage/sweetgrass/pine needles, which has helped.
I'm afraid it may just be time to bail out and cut my losses. It's ashame, but I seem to get deeper and deeper into debt each month. -

Tue, September 8, 2009 - 8:37 AMSorry Solari, with only written posts here which don't have the benefit of the intonation or inflection in your voice, it's hard to tell if it was a joke or a fact about feng shui that I didn't know.

Re: question on gridding my house
Wed, September 9, 2009 - 10:51 PMJust do a lot of happy things in your home. It just needs love, when you talk about negative things, it just brings on negative things. Feel your house filling you with many blessings, watch a lot of movies or shows that make you laugh. Watch the movie "The Secret", its a great movie, my wife and I watch it at least a couple times a month. Decorate the home with beautiful bright things that make you happy, you don't have to go all out. Love and laughter and being in the moment will conquer all.
You can also play this Reiki video or any of the Reiki videos from our page. Reiki is beautiful healing energy. www.youtube.com/watch -

Tue, September 22, 2009 - 3:29 AMHere's a link to a page on my website that gives info and advice on using natural crystals and Feng Shui to shift and enhance energy. You may have just the right crystals to turn your situation around. I've seen it work many times, using the crystals along with the power of intention and visualization.
