my selenite broke my rose quartz wand
whoops.
slight mishandling as i brought them for a weekend getaway.
they wanted to come with me, and they were most cherished.
the selenite is rather a rather large piece and bumped into the rose quartz wand.
any thoughts about the energy flow of broken wands? separating the pieces by distance?

Re: my selenite broke my rose quartz wand
Tue, April 1, 2008 - 8:26 PMdo what feels right. here are a couple of things i've done with broken wands....
- bury both pieces
- gift one piece to someone who i want to stay connected to (think those cheezy broken heart i <3 u pendants)
- make a new wand (i used clay in between the broken pieces because it's natural, but you could use fimo, it would last longer, a wandmaker i know used wood.)
the only shift in the energy i've experienced is part of creating the new piece with the broken ones. but that particular art was v.intentional.
i know someone who calls her broken stones warrior stones and finds they want to come out when there's really tough work to be done.

both pieces wanted to travel with me. i reckon they somehow saved my life through the snow i had drive through over some mountains...
the wand is angled on an alter...for now.

Re: my selenite broke my rose quartz wand
Sun, April 20, 2008 - 11:09 PMMy condolences on the breakage. It sounds like the energy expended in what they had to do for you for that weekend had to be dispelled in that heartbreaking way.
Can you put yourself in a meditative state, and ask the rose quartz what it needs now?
